I did not refer to the size guide, as I purchase several XL t-shirts every year, from all sorts of different shops, and they all fit without issue. However, the XL shirt from here was too tight. So, mostly my fault, but I also feel that an XL shirt should follow an industry standard.

Sizing can unfortunately vary between different brands and garments, which is why I have the measurements on the size guide, but I'd be happy to check yours hasn't come up smaller than it should.
