People were obviously keen for an illustration of this beloved slice of Brian Blessed lore as I had many, many requests for it and it quickly became one of my more popular paintings.
Someone once pointed out that it looks like Brian is giving the bear a handjob and I can't unsee it now which has forever tainted the piece for me. That said, there's no denying it is a key part of the Jim'll Paint It story. It is presented here in its original form. Handjob and all.
