Last of the Summer Wine Art Print

"The Last of the Summer Wine in the style of The Last of Us"

Painted on Microsoft Paint in April 2023

Requested by Guy Joyner and Mike Wragg

It's wild to me that The Last of the Summer Wine ran for 31 series. Most British comedies get two or three if they're lucky. And yet of 288 episodes the only scene to enter into wider cultural awareness is the bit where they roll down a hill in a bathtub. Here's that scene reimagined in the style of the HBO adaptation of the incredible video game The Last of Us with the elderly residents of Holmfirth succumbing to the cordyceps virus.
