Everything on this shop was painted by me, a real human called Jim.
Since 2013 I've been taking requests from social media and rendering them in painstaking detail on an old version of Microsoft Paint. You can read more about me here...

I bought this for my brother, who is an archaeologist and has actually worked with Phil Harding. This adds an extra layer of risk to the gift, as there is always the possibility that he knows exactly how geophysical Phil really is.
For anyone unfamiliar with him, Phil Harding is a genuine archaeological legend: a field archaeologist with more than 50 years’ experience, a long-standing member of Time Team and an expert flint-knapper. None of this, as far as I can establish, involved him dressing like an archaeological Chippendale and suggestively brandishing a whip. More’s the pity.
I’m a big Jim’ll Paint It fan and already own far too many of his T-shirts, so when I saw this I knew it had to be added to the collection – just not mine this time. The artwork is wonderfully ridiculous, the archaeological references are spot on, and the phrase “Let’s Get Geophysical” deserves to be adopted as the official motto of archaeologists everywhere.
My brother now has the perfect shirt to wear on site, at archaeological conferences, or ideally the next time he bumps into Phil Harding.
Whether he will actually have the courage to wear it in front of Phil remains to be seen.
Five stars. A genuinely excellent T-shirt. No trenches were harmed in the purchasing of this product.
Wonderful. Bought for a friend who loves Phil. Loved the tee
Loved it! 😍
Truly one of the most terrifying t-shirt designs I’ve ever seen. You can almost feel the sweaty oil patch on his hat and it exudes the essence of soil and real ale during each wear. Genius work!
A good quality t-shirt with a cracking print
