Painted on Microsoft Paint in March 2023 with additional shading on Photoshop

A parody of the stand out scene from one of the greatest films ever made and a homage to a show central to my early childhood. Alan Rogers, the creator and artist behind Pigeon Street expressed his approval as a fellow Shane Meadows fan although he did wonder what happened to the pigeon's feet.

This is the only canon Jim'll Paint It piece to have been finished on Photoshop. The line work and initial colouring was done on Microsoft Paint but no matter how many colours I used I couldn't achieve those soft Pigeon Street gradients - a result of Alan Rogers spraying watercolour paint onto cardboard cutouts.
