Featuring artwork from my Summerisle Arcana tarot cards - a deck of Major Arcana tarot based on the 1973 folk horror film The Wicker Man
The Moon card takes inspiration from the Hobby Horse. A half man, half horse creature who, like the werewolf, straddles the boundary between our world and that of the beasts. The Moon card drawn upright indicates hidden enemies, deception and occult forces.
Features the icon of Nuada, God of the Sun on the left front breast.
